Clare Ventures provides the capital female-founded businesses deserve to innovate, scale and create lasting impact.
OUR MISSION
Clare Ventures has an insatiable appetite to close the gender funding gap that sees female founders unfairly disadvantaged when it comes to receiving the investment they need to thrive.
Only 3%-5% of VC funding globally goes to all-female teams.
Male founders receive on average 5.9x the amount of early-stage VC funding as female founders.
In New Zealand, startups founded by women are shut out of all but 7 in every 100 investment opportunities.
With 95 percent of venture capital dollars being controlled by men, the presence of women across the investment spectrum is slim.
